EJO is Accredited by The British Council
What does this mean to me?
22nd February 2013
EJO International Summer Programmes and English Home Lesson courses are accredited and we have been an accredited organisation ever since the inspection scheme for English language schools started. But what does this mean to our students and their parents? We thought this brief explanation might prove interesting and useful.
In simple terms, accreditation provides students with a guarantee of quality. This guarantee is provided by Accreditation UK, which is a unit of the British Council in partnership with English UK, the UK's national, professional ELT Association.
Accreditation UK inspects organisations like EJO, who wish to join the accreditation scheme and ensures that we provide:
- Appropriately qualified teachers and staff
- Teaching which meets the Scheme standards
- 24- hour supervision of juniors
- Safe premises, with properly-equipped classrooms and areas for relaxation
- Brochures and publicity materials which accurately reflect what is provided
- Proper emergency procedures, known to staff and students
If you would like to know more about the inspection scheme and what it involves, please visit www.britishcouncil.org/accreditation
Quality is as important to us as it is to you and this is why EJO courses are accredited.
