Thirteen nights is the minimum and we suggest thirteen or twenty nights. However, a twenty-seven-night stay is possible. Dates chosen obviously need to be within the period of our published start and finishing course dates as shown on our Price List
Yes. Although we cannot guarantee multi-nationality, we welcome students from all over the world
Yes, we do
We recommend at least a very basic knowledge of English. Our courses are described in our Price List as catering from elementary level to advanced
Yes, we provide courses for many advanced level students
Yes, we are pleased to do this. Unfortunately, there is an additional charge which you will find on our Transfer Price List. If you are travelling by air, we meet you when you arrive in the arrival lounge and take to your course centre. When you leave, we help you to check in and accompany you to the point at which you go through passport control. We are very experienced in the airline regulations and procedures for looking after unaccompanied minors
Please let us know when you book if you are travelling with your airline as an unaccompanied minor. We will give you in advance the name of our representative who will meet you at the airport. You will need to give this information to your airline. We have to make a charge for this service to cover administrative costs. Please look at our Transfer Price List
If you are travelling as an unaccompanied minor, your parents will need to let us have a letter well in advance which gives us permission to collect you from the airport. The letter we use at EJO can be downloaded here
Yes, you will. If you are on a homestay course, you will talk with your teachers and your friends from different countries during activities and on excursions days, and to your hosts after you arrive home. If you are on a residential course, you will have the opportunity of talking with our friendly members of staff and your friends all the time
Yes they always do.

We normally don't release the addresses more than a week or so prior to arrival. The reason for this is simply that we are still taking bookings right up until the start of the course. Until we have all the flight details, allergies, dietary requirements and genders of all the students, it is almost impossible to complete the placements and if we do send out the address, there is always a possibility that we might have to make a change before you come. We understand that this is frustrating for our clients and students but it is a bit like trying to complete a very large human jigsaw and until we have all the pieces, we can't finish the puzzle. We ask for your patience and assure you that you will have the information in good time.
We can respond very successfully to most requirements but it’s important that that you tell us about any dietary requirements and medical conditions before you book.
Yes, they can contact you by phone and sometimes by e-mail as well. You’ll probably have your mobile with you and you’ll be able to use it during the course (except in lessons!)
Yes, we do
Yes, there is.
You will have three full-day excursions on a two-week (thirteen night) course, five on a three-week (twenty night) course and seven on a four-week (twenty-seven night) course. There is always a full-day excursion to London which includes an attraction such as a guided tour, the London Eye or a river cruise. Excursions are usually on a Wednesday and Saturday (except departure Saturday)
You hostess will do reasonable amounts of washing for you. If you are on a residential course, there are washing and drying machines for which there may be a small charge. Members of our staff will be happy to help you with your washing as necessary
Yes, they are and we will give you an emergency number on which you can contact a member of our team twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week
If you were unwell, we would arrange for you to see a doctor or, if necessary, take you to a local hospital
Yes, you can. We will help you to find the service you would like to attend
No there aren’t. All costs are on our price list and our Transfer Price List
Everything on our programme is included in the course price. However, you will also want some extra money for such items as shopping for yourself and presents to take home. The amount will vary from student to student but we would suggest £50 per week as reasonable.
If you are on a homestay programme, you should, in addition to the above, allow £15 - £20 per week for daily transport tickets to and from the teaching centre. Our local organiser will help you with buying passes or season tickets. The exception is Amesbury School where there is daily minibus transport for which a charge is made (Price List).
Yes, sometimes we can but we cannot always look after all your valuable possessions for you. You should keep valuable items such as mobile phones, cameras, ipods, computer games, jewellery, money and keys locked in your case and only take them out when you are using them
Yes we can. We are accredited by Accreditation UK, which is recognised by the UK Border Agency as a requirement for insitutions wishing to enrol students on child visitor and student visitor visas. If you need a visa to come to the UK, we can provide a letter supporting your application. In order to do this we will need your passport number and it is very important that you give us your name exactly how it is written in your passport. There is no charge for this but there is a charge of £57.50 to deliver the original letter to you by courier. It is also very important that we have your postal address, an email address and a mobile telephone number on which the courier can contact you in case there is any problem with the delivery.
When you book, we will send you an invoice which will give you our bank details and information about when payment is due
Yes. Please let us know as soon as you can so that we can make sure that there is a place available for you

We are very experienced in arranging stays for groups. Please e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org or phone +44 (0) 1428 751549 so that we can talk about your requirements
Students in homestay centres (except Amesbury) will travel to and from the course centre each day after their first course day unsupervised. They may also be permitted to sign out and then back in again at break time and lunchtime. At these times they must follow EJO safety guidelines. Students in residential centres are not allowed to leave the campus without adult supervision.
